Geriatrics is one of the interesting specialties. Very unpopular among AMGs yet it has very high and good pay! It's relatively easy for IMGs to get into it yet you have to think twice before making such a decision because am telling you it's not easy at all to care for the elderly. They are walking pharmacies!
As for the future, you bet it's a great specialty simply because the American population is aging and more and more 70s, 80s, and 90s folks are all around us.
