Dear Colleagues,

I am an IMG/greencard holder, old graduate (2008) , ECFMG certified.
I am looking for an externship in IM, FM or pediatrics in NY/NJ area.. Any help finding a free or an affordable externship will be very much appreciated..

Hey feb14,
I'm in the same boat as you! I'm considering paid externships as I have been unable to find any on my own by contacting hospitals. It also does not help that my resident state, CA, has strict regulations for IMG's to practice.

Anyways, if you find anything more about the externship options i would appreciate if you could share.

Best of luck in your search. Wish me the same

Do you trust those paid websites? I am afraid that they are scammers.. I asked many times here but nobody gives an answer..
Let's hope we find something
Please keep me posted of what you do..good luck
