Default For Current Residents: What should I do to give myself a best start in July?

Hi,
Those who are currently in an Internal Medicine residency program, any year (PGY-1, 2 or 3), what would you advise an IMG who doesn't have a whole lot of hands on USCE other than observerships?

What sort of things I could learn?

I haven't taken step 3? Plan to take that within the first year.

Any website blogs that are worth reading?

Podcasts?

Any iphone apps?

I don't know at this point what I'm looking for but essentially I need to put my best foot forward and not look like an idiot when start my residency. I know it's training so we are expected to learn but there's probably some sort of expectation on the program's part and I want to at least meet that starting day 1.

Your thoughts, tips and tricks, anything will be much appreciated!
