Default IMG.9 point drop from Step 1 to Step 2ck. Applying to IM. Will this affect my application?

Hey guys, So i just got my step 2ck score and it was around 9 points lower than my step 1 ( 260+). I know that the usual trend is in the opposite direction. So I'm a bit bummed out, despite the fact that they are both good scores. Will that look awkward to residency directors and can it significantly affect my application? Thanks

You are bummed with scores in 260s and 250s?
Good! You should be!
Extremely hard to match now

Your scores are awesome. There is nothing awkward about scoring 250s in step ck after 260s in step 1. Don't worry.

Insecurity is a big part of this process, and people "making fun" of your situation should understand this by now.
Don't worry, you have outstanding scores! You'll be fine.
Keep pushing.

Cry me a river. If you are smart enough to score in 250s and 260s you should be smart enough to understand what good scores are.
