Default Need your opinion Or shall I give up?

I am IMG graduate from India (2009), 3 yrs teaching experience in India, MPH from USA, 1 publication. STEP 1: 204, Step 2: 218, CS passed, everything first attempt. I do not have any US experience. Is there anything I can do to increase any amount chances to match OR Shall I give up? Even if I get US clinical experience, will it help considering my scores are very low?

Thanks a lot. Your help means lot to me.

Honestly, I think you know that its going to be very hard. The things you have going for you are your experience and MPH (despite the YOG, you might get calls from less competitive programs). The biggest drawbacks in your application are scores and lack of USCE. As the only thing you can change is USCE, I would suggest you to do that if you have decided to apply for the match. Try to get USCE in community programs where you can develop contacts with the core faculty of the program. People with contacts have matched with attempts in the past. I am not sure what the chances are without contacts, but I guess it will not be easy.

Do these:
1. USCE
2. Research
3. Step 3
4. Consider specialities other than IM.
