Question Residency Match Interviews, When and How?

Hello guys,

I have a question about interviews. If ERAS applications are made on Sept 15th, so when do you think the interviews will be around for 1st day applicants?

Also, what about IMGs? If you have many interviews, do you have to travel to the states to do them all? Can you pack them in a week or two for a one time visit?! Can some be done over Skype for example?

Thanks for the help.

Interviews start from late September until mid January.

Yes. You can cluster your interviews for better travel management.

No. You cannot do Skype interviews, it has to be in-person.

Hi StepTaker
I wanted to know how this (clustering the interviews) works.
Does interviewing early or late has any effect on being ranked?
Can I cluster 5-6 interviews ( too opoptimistic) in say 18-20 days?
I can get leave in first half of dec. is it ok ?
Regards
