Default Year of Graduation calculation

I passed my MBBS in India in 2009 (after 1 yr of internship); I then did my residency for 3 yrs in IM ( from 2010 to 2013) . I am applying for the match of March 2017

1. What will be the no of yrs since graduation?
2. Will it be my MBBS or MD that is to be considered?
3. Will my residency in IM help in the application and match process?

Pls help as I am unable to get a clear answer for my scenario

I'm also curious about this. I have similar situation: finished MBBS in 2008, residency in 2012. But by medical school diploma doesn't have 2012. We get a certificate after finishing residency, not an M.D. written on paper.

I had World Educations Services evaluated my diploma in the past. They recognized the time when I finished MBBS as M.D. graduation year. I don't know if ECFMG thinks the same.

Most places consider the end date of internship after passing final M.B.B.S as the date of graduation. Some consider the date M.B.B.S degree was issued as date of graduation. M.D or other postgraduate diplomas has no role on graduation date
