Fire Thread How strict are years after graduation?

I'm applying for Psych this year and saw some programs have "must be graduate for less than 5 years". Does it mean that they won't accept at all? Even if you've been doing relevant work?
I'm trying to decide if I need to apply to those programs to give it a try or just forget them. Your input is greatly appreciated

Default send them an email

The best answer for that will come from the programs themselves. Send the program coordinator an email inquiring about it.

Default YOG

You need to apply to the program that has a YOG cut-off of 10 yrs, or no cut off at all. If the program requirement says anything about YOG within 5 years it is a waste of money applying there it's better to invest in a place where you may have more chances.
Also if possible get a customized list and include your YOG in it you will have tremendous amount of result.
Good luck.
