Unhappy 219 and 211 Scores, Out of USMLE!

hi friends
very very confused...what to do now
step 1 score 219
step 2 score 211
do you think i should quit USMLE (green card holder)

Probably not, since youve already spent well over $2000 taking the exams.. Might qs well spend another $1000 and applysee where it gets you!

did you apply last year?...what is your year of graduation and USCE?
your scores are ok for a person who doesnt need visa..you have an average chance if not an old grad.
AMG get matches even lower score than yours..
best ok luck...try pediatrics..which will be easier,,

It depends on what specialty you are interested in. 219 on Step 1 is probably good enough for a lot of residencies, but it is just one amongst many factors that are considered. For instance, have you had multiple attempts at passing Step 1? Do you have any USCE? Do you have good LOR's? How committed are you to the specialty?
