Question 2020 match

Hello friends
I'm from India, preparing to take step1 exam in January 2017.
I'll be graduated in April2019, Can I apply for 2020 match if I could complete all steps by July 2019 & with 1 MONTH OF CLERKSHIPS IN APRIL 2019.
To be more specific will 1 month of clinical clerkship will be enough for fresh graduate. If it's not enough how should I get to do more electives & still be in 2020 match. please help me out. I should do one year of internship from April 2018-April2019. I'll be free in March 2018 for clerkships.

You are planning for 2020 match from now? That's 3 years from now you would be applying
Anyways you can only do clerkships in your final year of medical education (i.e. internship) so you will not be eligible for electives till you start the internship (you cannot do it in March 2018 as you have to apply 4-6 months in advance and you can only apply while doing internship)Try to do 2-3 months of clerkships as many places ask for that. Your timeline looks achievable and you should be able to get through it if you plan well.
Good luck

Thanks bro. 😊
If I can get letter from my Dean stating that I am in final year, can I go for clerkship in March and can I get 2-3 clerkships during internship by taking extension of internship
