Default How many years does it take ?

Assuming that everything goes according to plan...how long does it tale for a fresh medical graduate from india to get into a residency programme ??

It usually takes around 2 years. Add one more year in case of any uncertainties , like for Visa rejection , delay in registering for the exam,or postponing your exams due to low NBME scores, or when you don't get any USCE or worst case when you go unmatched and have to apply again with a better CV.
