Thumbs Up It's worth it

I use matcharesident. It saves you a lot of time and effort. Often, but not always, it says how many IMGs are in programs (in %). It hides all military programs, which is difficult to figure out from Freida. Also, it hides programs that do not sponsor visas (for non-US IMGs).

Remember that you'll pay thousands later on in this process. So I think it's worth it for a specialty or two.

I hope your checking the Programs Website for USCE and Carib-IMG vs IMG status.

Actually, not all programs speak openly about their residents. Many program websites I visit do not have any information about their residents.

Also, matcharesident claims that most of those websites are outdated, and that their staff call the program coordinator directly to check for latest updates (about requirements, USCE,...etc).

no need for debates here.

if you have financial resources then use those companies. if not, then do it yourself. there's no right or wrong, some got match using those companies & some dont. some ddnt match doing it themselves & some did. again, no exact rule on this.

just like USCE, if you have money you can go with those paid rotations(amclerkshps, imgprep, etc), less hassle & worry free. if not, there's always the option of doing it yourself but needs effort & time..

kapeash??
