hi All
i'm IMG my YOG is 2013
my step 1 exam will be on May
so my fiancÚ is a Green card holder
we're planning to get married next year in spring

i'm afraid i have to wait until 2019 match due to the process of visa to join my fiancÚ ;my hunsband by then ,that will probably take up to a year and half
so my question , will i be able to apply for a visa to take cs ? or that's impossible ?
how much worthy is it to apply with a GC to programs concidering i will be old graduate by then

Having a green card is certainly an advantage. Not many programs want to deal with the issues with H1b visa these days and J1 visa has its own set of problems. However, by 2019 you would have exceeded the 5 years since graduation requirement that many programs have (that does not necessarily mean you won't match though). It depends on your preference, but I would have probably applied after I got the GC ( the match rate for US IMGs was slighter higher at 53.9% compared to 50.5% for non-US IMGs; though not a huge difference, you would have to deal with the complexities of J1 visa if you don't manage to get a H1b which is becoming increasingly harder to get).
