Mail Mailing the LoR with separate DSF!

Please help!

I got a LoR from my home medical college. I waved my rights to see it and teacher packed and sealed the lor in an envelope without the DSF and Letter form from AAMC.
Can he leave these two forms outside of the sealed LoR and put all documents in another envolope and mail ECFMG?

I don't think there will be a problem if he or you do that.

However, if you have access to him, just send him the DSF and let him put the LoR and the DSF in a new envelop. That would be the best.

Default LORs questions ...for Step taker

Hello there

May I collect all the LORs in a closed sealed envelopes, and after put them together in one larger envelope and send them to ECFMG?

I am not waiving my rights to see the LORs.

Which address should be written in each LORs ( physicians address and ECFMG address) or only my address as a sender on the large envelope?

How many DSF do I need for 4 LORs If I will send them together in one envelope?

Do I need to put the names of MD , from whom I took LORs, in LORs section at OASIS before I mail them or after I mail them?

I know the link about LORs, but I want straightforward simple explanation from SaBio Or Step taker or anybody else!

Thank you very much!

Waiting for your response!

PS: I am IMG, and can I do same thing with my deans letter...for example: the dean will mail me the letter in closed and sealed envelope and after I will put the letter in another envelope and mail to ECFMG without DSF, or my school can mail it directly to ECFMG ( I will send to my school the mailing address of ECFMG-Eras officce)>

Thank you!

we don't need the DSF if the writer submit it electronically, right? do they have to attach the AAMC Letter Request Form?

LoRs submitted electronically through LWP do not require the AAMC’s Letter Request Form or a DSF.

LoRs uploaded through LWP will take one to two weeks to process. Applicants can track the status of their LoR requests from the request home page in OASIS. LoRs submitted electronically through LWP do not require the AAMC’s Letter Request Form or a DSF. For more information, see Letter Writer Portal Requests.
