Default Can I match in 2022?

Hey all,

I just began medical school in Sweden and I will graduate in January 2022. Is there any chance for me to match in 2022? I'm mostly thinking about interviews etc. If they could happen over Skype that would be amazing. If not, this means traveling to the US every weekend for each interview. I'm also wondering if they will accept the fact that I don't have my medical degree just yet (I get it in January 2022) if the interviews are happening before January 2022?

Really sucks if I have to wait 1+ year doing nothing.

To be honest, when I started medical school in 2013, everyone stated all spots would be full to AMG and IMG's won't be able to match. Throughout the years I released it doesn't really matter what the rumours are, what matters is your scores on the USMLEs. That being said, don't worry about matching, you should focus on is checking if your school prepares you well for the USMLEs and doing well on them.

I disagree relax and enjoy

before you think about matching there are a lot of things you have to do during your medical school to be fit to apply for usmle exams and subsequently match,
i would advise you to concentrate on your studies and understand the important concepts instead of being overwhelmed about matching, good luck.
