Default Step 1 224 Step 2ck 235

I just got my step 2 score, and its a 235 was expecting better. Can you guys please advice me on my chances of match. I would be happy with peds or FM. I need a visa.

We need more information. So many variables ... Do you have U.S. LORS? YOG (Year of Grad), how many U.S. Clinical months / Years do you have? What type of Visa? Are you trying this Match or next year? This year you are most likely too late ... Apply broadly to 200+ programs and all IMG friendly

I agree with everything that was said above! Definitely apply broadly to put yourself in the best position. Now according to the 2016 IM match data, non US IMG's with a step 1 score between 220-230 matched 48% of the time. Those same grads with a step 2 ck between 230-240 matched 57% of the time. So it's very possible!

I am a 2016 grad, going to do 4-6 months observer ship.
