Listening Will the get the exams done and apply in October

Hello friends I need your help ...... I want to apply for this year match I have passed my CS
scored 211 on nbme 7 .... 02 weeks back
scored 228 on nbme 11 ..... 03 days back

I have few queries
A). Shall I take step 1 in the next few days or shall I wait ( I have to take step 2 CK as well)

B). Assuming I take step 1 in next few days but still I will need at least 02 months for step 2 ck and so I will take it on 15th of September and then I will wait for another 03 weeks for the result before I apply

so what do you guys suggest shall I take this risk or wait for next years match because I am not sure if I apply late it may decrease my chances of getting interviews

all your feedback will be appreciated

why the rush??
even if u take step1 now, time will choke u in ck to apply for residency
take another yr & score 250s than stuck with low scores for life

thanks for the reply but issue is regarding applying late like in the first week of October as I will be appearing for CK around 13th of Sep ..... I will be satisfied with a score around 230 and I have done 02 months of clinical electives as well with good letters of recommendation ..... so basically I want to know what are my chances of getting IVs if I apply in the first week of Oct

sure it's better to have you scores when you are interviewed but it is not always the case. If you 'look good' on the rest (usce, lors), you can easily get iw and explain the delay. I would surely try it this year, studying extra months does not necessarily convey you higher scores - that's what usmle is like..
in the case of not matching you can always retry the whole thing next year already with step3 in your pocket..
