Certificate Suggestions on LORs

Anyone has an idea on what a letter of recommendation should look like? Is there any guideline on what the letter must contain?

Smile LoR Guidelines

It should not be more than one year old.
It should be one page, not very long.
The writer should sign it in blue ink.
The logo of the hospital should be there.
He should write good unique things about you.
It's better if he mentions your AAMC ID in the letter.

These are the guidelines

Thanks for your reply. I'm also confused on the LOR cover sheet. Who prepares it, myself or the LOR writer? Can one find a sample cover sheet?

Hi!

I have read several threads regarding LORs but didn't find a definite answer to the following question:

If I waive my right to see the LORs does that mean that all LOR writers must send the letters in between July 1 (once I register in ERAS and get my aamc id) and September 1? They can't do it before July 1, right?
