Listening Applying without CK Results!

Hey wanted to ask,
Should I apply without my ECFMG certificate because my ck result will be late, I have a poster publication ?? don't know what to do as i don't want to waste another year : (

hey im in the same situation as you and so are many other people. I have asked around and i came to the conclusion to go ahead and apply with step 1 and cs and than update the ck results. any feed back is welcum

i am with u guys as well.can anyone tell me is it better to apply immediately on september 26 or wait till we get ecfmg certificate?we are automatically ecfmg certified if pass all steps but is it automatically updated on ERAS once we submit ck scores?

i have asked this question to many people.
my 3 options where:

1. apply until i have ecfmg certificate, probably second week oct.. answer NO

2. Apply sept 26 with all results, 11 days after sep 15th... you can do that.

3. apply sept 15th, with step 1, and step 2 CS results... you can do that too.

I asked around, and to be honest, choice 3 was the most recommended, not sure though, i guess i will apply to programs that don't request all the steps and ecfmg certification sept 15th... i hate this delay, screwed my plans.

and wat difference would it make if we go for the auto report of scores when we get them????????

That's is the reason they told me to apply with incomplete tests, because once i have them, usmle gives them to eras and eras automatically sends it to the programs. But i'm afraid i could get filtered before that.
