Certificate What is the typical Transcript from Indian Medical College

I am a final year MBBS student in India and had a question about transcript format that is needed to apply for clerkship and residency in US. I had requested my official transcript from my university and they just handed me a one-page document that shows the total marks obtained out of the maximum possible in each year. It does not give a breakdown by courses taken or scores in theory and practical. The university officials insist that they know what they are doing and that "this is how we have always issued official transcripts for medical students".

I don't think that it is correct. Can I get an example of a typical transcript that is submitted by IMGs or an official description of transcript format requirements that I can take of university officials?
