Certificate Dermatologist Writing IM LoR!

Is it okay to have a LOR from a Dermatologist who works in private practice when applying to Internal medicine. Does the letter has enough weight for your application .?

Ans: Yes.

Does is have the same weight of an LoR written by Internist?
Ans: No.
