Info My Medschool Scores are below average.

Hello,

I was wondering if my average or below average scores in medschool will affect me, my medschool is very harsh, and out of 500-600 students from each class, the best averages 70-80s, and average students barely pass (passing score is 61).. it looks bad on the paper, but is a very good school.

Is my MSPE going to affect me? , my average score is around 65 pts..
What can i do in my MSPE to help me?...No awards in school, just class treasurer, and class president one year. Never lost a class, but the average is not that good. My original class from first year are 600.. only 90 of us made it till the end without losing a class.

My usmle scores are 225-230-step 2 CS first pass... all first attempt. <1 YOG, 2 US lors, 2 months USCE, one congress presentation.

Please some detailed help will be appreciated

In the case of IMGs, Program directors rely more on USMLE scores than on MSPE and Med School Performance, this is simply because they don't know overseas schools and so they don't really trust their assessments!

I understand what you are saying, this calms me. About the MSPE:

I should avoid the graphics right?... I'm probably around 45% of the class.

I have read some good MSPE where they add the core clinical rotations and elective rotations and include: where, grade, length and comments:
Can i include only INTERNAL MEDICINE electives and core clinicals--> since that is the specialty I'm applying, or should i include all my core clinicals? Thanks Sabio.

Clinical rotations and credits and units will be mentioned in your transcript. It does not need to be mentioned in the MSPE.

However, I don't see a problem it they are mentioned.
