Certificate Finalize LOR ?

Hi, friends,

I have a question. I just scanned my LOR (unwaived) and it was succesfully uploaded through OASIS-ERAS .
Then, I read that I need to finalize the letter in ERAS.

So What does this mean ? What is the next step after uploading in ERAS support service?

Thanks in advance!

I have the same/exact question.
I uploaded 3 LoR last week and I can confirm they were uploaded correctly in the "Verify Receipt of ERASŪ Documents".
Are the LoR's suppose to appear in the ADTS in MyERAS?

Once the LoR's are uploaded on OASIS, are we suppose to do something in MyERAS?

i think to finalize means you go to your eras page and assign slots to each letter writer

Thanks Nativedoc and Sabio.

First I requested my (unwaived) LoR's through OASIS to the letter writers.

Then I uploaded them through OASIS.

Once the letters were uploaded, I then went into MyERAS and entered the LoR authors info and finalized each one of them.

My questions are:

1. Does it matter if I first uploaded the LoRs through OASIS prior to filling out the LoR tab in My ERAS?

2. I uploaded them more than a week ago, do they usually take this long to show up in ERAS postoffice?

Thanks!

Yeah. It's OK.
They won't show up until 2-3 days after you request them in ERAS.

Sabio, thank you for always clarifying doubts.

My LoR's are already available in ERAS PostOffice as of today 5:00pm.

I think that when you say "First I requested my (unwaived) LoR's through OASIS to the letter writers." IS NOT CORRECT , because when you request it through OASIS , the letter writer has to to do the process electronically and here, this letter would be waived .
So, in your case you just need to either go to MyERAS and finalized it, then upload in ERAS support service (OASIS) and that's it or viceversa.
Because if you have the LOR in your hands or the physician will give you the letter it is an unwaived and you don't need to request it through OASIS.

I hope that this clarification can help.

Good luck !!!!
