USA What is Internship in USA!

Hello ,,
in my country, medicine study is (6 years study &1 year internship)
the internship is mandatory for graduation
so , in usa what do they consider internship ?

In USA, the internship is the first year of residency.

so if I took my intern & go there ...they 'll consider me as resident finished his 1st year of residency or what????

Any postgraduate training outside USA is not recognized by the US health care system.

You have to pass all USMLE steps, be ECFMG certified, apply for residency, do complete residency (including the first year of internship), then apply for State license, only then you can work as a doctor in USA.

This is true even if you have board certification from your country, PhD, 20 years of clinical experience, ...etc

Your internship is not recognized by USA, you have to start from Zero in USA.
