Smile Year of Graduation vs Residency

Hi everybody,

Has been 2 years now since my graduation, now I'm aiming to take USMLE exams in the coming 2 years, so it will be 4 years since graduation when I'll join the matching prog. is that going to affect my chances?? and if so, for what extent ??

thank you all

Try to apply next year, do not take too long preparing for the steps (2 years is rather long).

The less years since graduation the more likely you will get matched, to what extend? nobody can answer this with precision. but in general if I were you I'd try my best to make it 3 years since graduation rather than 4 years since graduation.
