Communication Calling Residency Programs Before Applying!

hey I have a question,
Before selecting a program, should we call a program to check their requirements.
I mean is this allowed or counts as irregular?

Of course call them! Make a list of your questions and ask them.

almost 50% of programs state for applicants not to contact them.

Please dont rush this, you wont show your self as interested, any interest should be shown in PS. Now if you cant read a simple website and requirements then ooh ooh

What you are speaking about, l think, is contacting to track your application which l agree with you about. But l don't see a problem in calling to ask about the recent criteria. Remember many of the websites are not updated.
