Question volunteering during med school

i volunteered in a few programs in my medical school but i dnt ve any certificates from them..since that was own personal effort .. its not a requirement from school...how n where should i mention that?

yes, anything is fair game, you have to take all your certificate to your interview

me too. got some volunteering done but i cant provide a document that i did it. since most of them are just through informal invites, like "who wanna volunteer, be here tomorrow blah blah.."
and also its inappropiate to reply, "i wanna come if you give out certificates". i mean you volunteered, that's doing something w/o expecting any rewards in return.
so should we mention it in CV? or just leave out?

i just want to clarify that volunteering was with NGOs so i cnt get certificate from a private NGO..one NGO worked for schizophrenia and another for women health in rural areas.

Though I would be wrong if I say that I don't have any certificates from volunteering, but I don't have them for most and that shouldn't be a deterrent to mention them, if you have really done it.. And again volunteering is but a small thing on your CV. There are other more important things that PD might ask to prove (if he intends to, which again is rare)
