Help A negative aspect was mentioned in my LoR !!! Is it ok ?

Hello everybody.

SAAAAAVE MEEEEE !!!

First of all I'm IMG.
I have had clerkship (in Psychiatry) when I was a student in Canada (ELECTIVE) with a very familiar faculty member at that university. he gave me a reference letter.

He mentioned a REALLY very good detailed stuff about me. but he mentioned that sometimes I misunderstood the meaning of patients statements because of my lack of familiarity with the Canadian culture and I need an english grammer course to improve my written grammer for the documents, but he said im quite good in verbal communication. He said im able to improve without diffeculty on these areas. other wise it is all good

I'm not sure if it is good to submit this letter. it is the only North America experience I had. I have excellent LoRs from home country. But u know guyz US/Canada letters are a BIG hit

THAAAAAAANKS

Do not use that letter.

Use other letters if you have.

I agree with the others. The purpose of an LOR is to make you look good, even if its just 1 paragraph that talks about your high points, its better than one long LOR that includes a sentence about your low point.
