Question LoRs, to waive or not to waive

Hi all,
I have 3 Qs i would like someone to help me with.

1) Is it better to use a waived LOR or unwaived LOR?

2) I have an error on my LOR.. the LOR puts my ECFMG number as my AAMC number.. can I still use it? I am asking because it is very hard to get the doctor to write me another letter.

3) I have experience teaching in a med sch, and I have a letter of recommendation from the med sch (foreign med sch) that I used to teach..can I add that to my 3 U.S clinical LORs?

PLS SOMEONE ADVISE.

hi
1. it is better to use waived, most of mine are unwaived. it is better to have an unwaived than no letter at all.
2. i really dont think it should matter so much. thats my honest opinion. the letter will be uploaded on your eras account so obviously it is meant for you. i think it is a very small mistake, nothing to stress about.
3. they want your lors to be from dr especially those who can talk about your clinical skills. i guess you can upload it, look for more lors from doctors and decide if you still want to use the teaching lor

just my opinions, hopefully more experienced people will answer your qs
