Question Separate CV other than ERAS CV

Is it important to make a different CV, Resume?
As the my ERAS will automatically generate the CV/Resume, then should we have to give another CV to the programs during applications?
Please forum moderators put your inputs!:sorry:

No, you don't have to give a separate CV. Just try to fill in the application in best possible way describing your Job/volunteer experience, rest schooling and awards you cant do much. ERAS is going to pick your info and make a CV out of it.

It's not mandatory but it's a good idea to have your own CV (other than that generated by ERAS).

The reason is that sometimes residency programs still insist on seeing your non-ERAS CV, specially at the time of the interview.

Also, since you are going to start a medical career in USA, then it's always wise to have a CV always available and always updated.
