Question mention attempts in personal statement?

Hi everyone, I am an IMG had a CS exam passed at my 2nd attempt. I was too rush for the result to come out on time so I took it without having a good preparation. Now I am considering whether or not mention the reason of failure CS in my personal statement? I don't want the PD thinks it is due to my English (which isn't true either as I always got good performance in SEP). On the other hands, I'm not sure if I should bring up a negative point like this, even I may try to make it positive.
Any input/experience would be much appreciated!
