Question Observer or Elective Student!

In one of my work experiences, i applied for clinical electives in a john hopkins affiliated hospital in dubai. but i was actually more of an observer. My LOR doesnt state anything specifically. it does not mention if i did history taking or clinical exam ( though i did do some of that) and it doesnt state if i was there for electives or as an observer. what should i write in the POSITION Box?? observer or clinical elective?? this was while i was still in the medschool.
plz help!!
also Im not attaching this particular lor with my application
Ppl come here to study n ponder

Since you were in school, I'd put elective. What you actually did was meaningless, as its up to the physicians what they allow the students to do anyway, and thats dependent on the dept. Some are more complex than others.
