Question How to submit LoR in ERAS

I have registered the EARS today, but unable to finalize the LoR list because one of the potential author is now traveling in Europe and unable to respond to me, then I can not finalize the list. I wonder what is the instruction regarding submission after I finalize it. I want to know this so that I can let other author know how to submit LoR electronically and estimate when I can really submit the whole application.

Default

There are around 20 threads in this forum regarding this topic. If you can ask the author to submit the letter via the Letter portal: look for this topic in this forum, the other option is for you to upload it yourself. At this moment avoid the mailing system, if you author mails the letter it will take 4 weeks for it to get uploaded, so the best options are:
1. Upload it yourself
2. Author uploads it via the letter portal.

please look for the previous threads, this topic has been discussed so many times in the last month

Default Upload LoR yourself

Does this mean, if the author of the LoR authorize you to upload it, he/she will send you the LoR he or she writes and you just upload it yourself? Then in this case, you do not waive the right to see the letter and you have to discuss with your LoR author if he or she agrees to do this, right? Can you tell me how to do in this way and the advantage is faster?
