USCE is not an absolute requirement for residency, although it increases ur chances. However, good scores alone aren't enough. Scores are no more than a thresh hold mark for short listing candidates. Your scores are impressive but don't be fooled into thinking the higher the score it compensates for something. Complete your research project, publish something, get some USCE and you should be competitive enough. Best wishes......

It really depends upon what type of program are you trying to match into. If you are happy with a community program, then your credentials are outstanding. However, to match into a reputed university program, it may not be enough. Most programs have ranges for scores and tend to lump applicants in those ranges together. For example, all candidates with scores 250+ may be considered to be in the same pool and the PD may pick one with USCE or research.

If you go through the IM match threads, you will find posts by a couple of members, in the last few pages, who have high scores, ranked 1st or 3rd in class and a couple of months of observership. They applied to 90~110 programs and have invites from about 10% of them. They were expecting better response. But if that kind of response is good enough for you, then don't sweat.

Amazing scores, congrats. im sure you will get matched without usce as your scores are so good but it wouldnt hurt to get some US experience as you still have so much time till you apply. maybe you an do 1-2 months externship or observership when you come to US for CS exam.
this will increase your chances in applying to certain programs that highly prefer USCE.

Since when are these only "good" scores?

I don't see why you can't schedule USCE. Either way, you're a super fresh grad, in your case it doesn't matter all that much but with your scores it should be easy to get 3 months of observership at least. Why hamper these awesome, stellar scores with lack of USCE?
