Fire Thread List of Non-ERAS Non-Match Residency Programs

I have yet to find a US residency that does not participate in the ERAS Match, if it does not I have found it to be a DO only residency so MD's can not apply.

If you know of one please post it, as far as I have found all of them go through ERAS.

Most of these programs are in fact military and naval programs. You don't have much children in the US army

Military residencies are restricted to US citizens, US medical schools and you have to join the US military

So to clarify "Not in ERAS" I was talking about non military residencies

I'm a US citizen and I went to a Caribbean medical school and so far have been told no to the military residencies

It's not enough to have US citizenship.
You have to be enrolled in the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) or attending a civilian medical school under the Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP).

But note that the list given by Rasheed does also include few non-military programs but I don't know which one of them.

Trust me the list is not correct

They have this residency
Quote:
St Louis University School of Medicine Program St Louis, Missouri
listed as not in ERAS yet if you go to the program site:

Quote:
Electronic Residency Application Service
The Saint Louis University Family Medicine Residency accepts applications through ERAS through December 31 of each calendar year. We require a minimum of two letters of reference, a Dean's letter, medical school transcript, and a report of all USMLE and/or COMPLEX attempts.
Interviews are scheduled during November - January and complimentary lodging can be arranged for out-of-town applicants.
International Medical Graduates
Saint Louis University sponsors J1 visa applications through and in accordance with the ECFMG. Saint Louis University does not sponsor any H1B Training visas for residency training. Clinical experience in the United States is required.
Minimum Applicant Qualifications
1. Medical school graduation not more than 3 years prior to application OR at least one year of clinical experience after medical school
2. No more than 2 USMLE failures
3. Two recommendation letters from primary care supervising physicians or one recommendation letter from a family physician.
As far as I know and researched there are NO residencies outside of ERAS anymore, unless they are Military or like Urology, and Urology has a Match too.

There are no residencies outside ERAS. The programs listed here are useless.

Default non-ERAS programs

There is a search option on the FREIDA website to select programs not participating in ERAS. It is the best source for this type of information.

True the military programs are listed, but there are a large number of civilian spots too. As always double check with the program.

The programs I found for 2010-2011 are too many to list

Default UROLOGY - All programs

There are 3 types of matching programs.
1. NRMP
2. SF Match
3. AUA Urology Match

Some of the specialties like ophthalmology use the SF match. Urology has its own match and their deadlines are 1-2 months earlier than NRMP/ERAS deadlines so plan accordingly.
