Call the Program Cordinator.

Say this..

"Hello, I am Dr.XXZX.. I was offered a prematch and I still have not signed the Papers. I want to withdraw from the match and cancel my other IV today and I am wondering if you can PLEASE, send me the papers."

that it.
and then after you sign it , withdraw from the match and cancel your IV.
if this brookdale or bronx they are super slow.

makes me laugh, incredible what stories I hear of that hospital. offering everyone a prematch?? how desperate they have to be..I would wonder why.. best advice I read; 'stay away from programs that offer prematches'. there is always something wrong with them. always.

i don't understand. what about the all in/out rule. is it that those programs offering "prematch" are't really in the match and thus can make offers, or the there a thingy/loop hole with the all in/out rule that we need to discover.

congratulations though to those who have offers. i pray it fulfills your aspirations.

Congrats!
I'm applying only next year, so I was wondering what is it "to get pre-match"?
Does it mean to start working earlier?
Thank you!

you should not cancel any IV unless you sign a contract with the prematch offer. verbal agreement is not binding

I believe that if you already signed the contract then they are obligated to hire you. January just started so give it sometime. if you dont hear from them in few days, try calling or emailing them. I don't think you should be worried.
congrats on getting prematched!
if you still don't hear anything from them till end of january, maybe then you should just go to your other IV just to be safe but as far as i know, a written contract is a binding agreement and the program will not want legal issues like that.
