Default IMG with greencard

hi,
i m a IMG from india and currently residing in boston USA, i query is that is it a little easier for a IMG with a greencard to get into a residency program because the program does not have to sponser you a visa J1 or H1b , i know with a greencard we can apply into more programs some programs do not even sponser visa , but the question lies if we have low scores.

Hey, I have the same question. I think green card is better but pls check this post i made. It depends the status: conditional or non conditional. I am pretty sure about the non conditional green card but not the conditional, which is my case.
