Question 2004 Graduate Chances

Hi everyone,

What score an IMG gradauted in 2004 need to get to IM program!

There are several other factors need to be considered besides your graduation year.

Do you have USCE?
Do you have US LoR?
Do you have Medline publications?

Before I know these, I would probably say 230+ in both Step 1 and CK and CS pass from first attempt. and you shouldn't expect high profile University programs, you'll get mostly community hospital interviews.

Also the other thing is connections. In your case you'll be 9 years since graduation by the time you apply. Residency programs would most likely filter you out (based on year of graduation) even before looking up your scores. But if you have connection, at least to make them see your application, that will help.
