Cool Time taken for changing J1 research to J1 clinical visa?

Hello everyone,
I am on a J1 research Visa and it ends in May 2013. I have applied for residency and have got couple of IVs so far. I dont know if I will be matched this year or not!
For this reason, I have not applied for a waiver for the Visa and I am holding back till the 15th of March.
My question was how much time does it take, once I know that I have been matched, for changing J1 Research to J1 clinical?

Thank you!

Default j1

I dont know...I ve heard someone saying it is straightforward, and others saying it takes a while...but I m more leaning towards the straighforward versions....btw...do you know if the 7 years will be starting over since the beginning with the new j1 clinical?
