Listening Will I be filtered out by incomplete CS attempt?

hi all
i need a sincere advice
i now have this incomplete attempt for cs on my record. Will i be filtered out of programs because of this? Do I have any chances of matching or is it over? In the other forum someone said very low chances.
Just want to know if I should continue with this usmle path or not realistically.
given that other imgs who pass cs on first attempt arent even matching or getting ivs.
it is sad that one small thing can change your life for ever!
please advise all......i've spent all my student life working for this.....im actually quite disappointed
thanks friends..

Anything is possible, your scores are decent. I would say go for it, just make sure you have a good story if you get asked in IV's. It only takes on IV... Good luck. No one on here can tell you exactly what to do, no one knows the outcome, you will get conflicting opinions as anywhere else, I would say believe in yourself, follow your heart and listen to the inner voice and what it says. It's never wrong. Hope that helps a bit...

You should be fine, remember it takes one IV.

Your scores are above 230+ so your in good shape. but if you have an accent, if people dont understand you you might be in trouble.

I dont believe you will be filtered out, you will be asked as to what happened thats for sure, I would rather have an incomplete attempt than a fail thats for sure

I applied for IM I had a 231/99 on step 1 and 248/85 on step II and failed CS. I had 8 interviews within the first 2 weeks I submitted my app. When I received my CS fail I called the programs and lost every single interview (not exaggerating) i ended up with overall 9 IV. If you fail CS you definitely get filtered period that's the sad reality but some programs will overlook it if you have good clinical grades and and step scores.

Yeah incomplete is not the same as fail. Now just do that test, get your pass and you will be good to go. No problems
