Calendar Applying late!!

Hi, I'm an IMG. I have pretty good scores in my steps and I think I have strong LORs from US docs. My problem is that I'm very late. My LoRs haven't even been sent out yet. I hope they will be sent this next week. Should I apply now designating the letters to each program even if they´re not uploaded yet? Or should I wait for the LORs to be uploaded? Do you think I'll be loosing my chances at good programs by applying mid October?

Thanks in advance...

Question Which specialty?

What specialties do you intend to apply for?
Advanced and competitive less IMG-friendly programs start looking at applicants late, while categorical less competitive more IMG-friendly programs have already started looking at applicants.

Default Thanks

Hey, I´m applying for categorical internal medicine programs. All the programs I have in my list are university based. Some more competitive than others... I guess most of them are not TOO IMG friendly in general. What do you think?

Thumbs Up Then don't worry

Then in that case you are not yet in the danger zone.
Such programs send interviews mid October to early November.

Fingers crossed, and wait for it.

PS- come back here to this thread and tell us the good news
