Listening what are my chances in IM?

hi, I have this question bothering me....I need some honest advice whether I should stick to IM with these scores or should I shift to Peads?

Step 1: 227
step 2: 237
CS passed at first attempt
Step 3: will take in a month.
2 month observership with 2 US LORs.
I want to improve my USCE before next match , that is the reason why I want to focus on one specialty. If I don't stand a good chance in IM, then I think I should focus my attention towards Peads and look for USCE in Peads only. What do you guys think?

You have good scores for both IM and peds, but you have not mentioned a crucial thing ie your year of graduation.
If you are within 5 years you stand a good chance, otherwise also if you get few more months of externship it will only benefit your cause.
