Info Is ROL needed for SOAP?

Just wanted to know, do you have to have an ROL to be eligible for SOAP?

No. You don't need that.

All you need to have is that you applied to at least one program in ERAS. You don't have to have been interviewed and you don't need to ROL.

You do need to be enrolled in the NRMP and need to certify a BLANK ROL.

I spoke to an NRMP representative today and he did not mention anything about a blank ROL. can you please post the link to your source?

It is all over their recent posts, especially in comments as replies to questions. It may not be 100% necessary, I don't know. I'm not participating in SOAP, but it seems very safe to just go ahead and certify a blank ROL.

thank you for your reply. from what i understood a certified blank ROL only stops the email notifications sent to you, but does not have any effect on participating in the SOAP.
