Listening Apply with or without CS results

Do I need to have my EFCMG certification verified to receive interviews? I will not have my CS results until November, should I still try to apply or wait until next year?

Apply after CS but to the programs who will accept your file.

But if it was me, I would wait and save money till next year.

Sorry not trying to be funny, don't have that much experience with the process
I was told the most applicants apply their senior year, I am a US citizen in my 4 th year of medical school, I don't have any US clinical experience but have secured some opportunities to work with a physician after graduation. I have passed the Step 1 now studying for Step 2 Ck and Cs.i just want to be the best applicant as possible. Also I am a US citizen but attend school out of the country.

LISTON TO ME, APPLY ON FIRST DAY OF APPLICATION if you have a decent step 1 mark since you are US-IMG and make sure to ace your STEP 2 CK

if you have solid scores on 1 and CK apply without to programs who dont require it. But again if you require visa i say apply when you are ready with ECFMG certificate. 15 days late is not bad.

I'd say this is mostly not true. Most programs won't look at you without a CS. Remember we are IMGs, not AMGs. I had limited interviews until my CS came out and I am a US-IMG with 224/226.

EDIT: Actually I had 5 interviews before my CS came out and 4 after my CS. I received my CS score Dec. 15th.
