Question Normal waiting period? No rejections and No IVs

Any one with any related experience...

I've gotten some rej, 4 to be exact, some notifications of receipt of app.
NO IV yet.
20 IM
60 Rad
20 Trans

Date of grad 2007, GC, All Steps passed on 1st attemp, USCE > 6mo.

Thinking positively, If they're not rejecting me... does it mean they're still considering?
How many programs actually send a rejection notification?

Radiology and transitional usually are late in responding and you still have chances until mid November.

Internal Medicine community programs usually respond early (they should have sent you something by now) but Internal Medicine University programs are usually late, I can say late October to early November.

You did not mention your scores, so I cannot guess your chances.

As for the rejections.
There's no set rule as what programs do send rejections and which programs do not. It varies from specailty to specialty and from program to program and even from year to year. Your best bet is to see if the programs that you applied for have sent rejections to others but not to you and then in that case it's highly likely that they've put your application on hold and they may send you an interview soon.

I hate to say that your chances are grim if you have not been invited yet.
I suggest you call the programs that did not respond yet and try to sell yourself in the telephone mentioning your prior accomplishments in the hope that they relook at your application.
