Question The reason why IMGs did not match?

About unmatched IMG this year , why didn't they match ?
is it mainly coz of low scores , no USCE , bad ENGLISH or acting badly in interview??
So , give me your opinion , What do you think ?

may be its only my friends mistake but i observed. Lack of diversity of application like- applying to a particular region or particular type of program is also a factor.

Most important factor is WE ARE IMGs. A country who accept other countries diagnostic crietrias and treatment plans after doing vast research. How it will accept IMGs without testing them on every aspect of application.

do you know if scoring significantly better on the other steps [250 or 260+] has an effect? considering a 230 in step1

Since I have been on USMLE related forums for more than 4 years, I can say that why IMGs don't match or match at low programs is THE FALSE INFO they have. Most people talk on their credentials as 5 months of USCE, 1 year of rotations as a Caribbean, or 4 letters...etc. I can say that things in reality don't work that way! When you say 4,5 or even 20 months of USCE, what was that USCE? was it a hands on elective? hands on sub-internship? research elective? observership? Was that at Harvad and big universities? Was that at very low and mid tier universities and institutions? You say 4 or 10 letters. All letters say excellent, smart...bla bla...but what unusual abilities you have? Is it a personal letter or just a form letter and just changing the student name? Who wrote the letter? All these things matter, guys!
Trust me, low programs, where most IMGs end at, don't deserve the time and money you spend to match at. Those programs did not take them because they found IMGs competitive, they took them because AMGs prfer to go outside the match than matching there.
When a program wants to match an IMG, that applicant needs to be at least parallel and even better than other AMG applicants at that program.

Best of luck everybody. Trust me, not everyplace deserve that money applicants spend. Most of those low universities, even american people don't hear about them. Know what you want. If you want to come to the US just for money, then there are other places that pay much more. If you want to come to the US for research and learn true medicine then you need to hunt high programs. Is that possible? YES. Almost every top institution has IMGs, not normal or mediocre IMGs, but strong IMGs who are better than AMGs at that program.

I hope my message is clear and no body misunderstands me.
