Question Should I continue?

Guys, It's me here again with the same question. I'm an IMG.. YOG 2013 . got my step 1 result. Very very depressed as it was totally unexpected. If everything was going on track , I was supposed to take my CK this july and apply for 2014. I am also waiting for my CS result..and now I'm worried about whether I'll pass it or not..considering the kind of luck I have!
I just needed advice from you guys..whether I should continue to pursue my US residency dream or not. ? I was aspiring residency of 2014 in IM. Have LORs and USCE in IM.

Please let me know your honest opinion..so that I am able to decide and start studying for CK which is in July end.

Thanks

You should definitely continue.. There's no reason not to, you only have one exam left to get certified by ecfmg. Even if you score is really low just apply broadly to as many programs u can, IMG friendly ones at that. Make sure your PS and CV really stand out, they're many threads here to help you with that. Once you get the IV try your best cuz at that point your just as good as the guy/girl with a 260 sitting next to you!! Good luck

Hi.. Der's no point taking a step back having come so far... No matter how low ur step 1 score is, it's a fact u cleared it in 1st attempt.. Der r so many (few inspiring stories u can find on this forum itself ) who failed der step 1 and still dint give up... Think about it like dis... U hv so many plus points like recent grad, USCE and LORs... Nobody knows d future but that doesn't stop us from trying.. Follow ur dream n promise urself u'll work even harder for ck.. Pull up ur socks n get going dude... All d best...
