Warning! I need Info regarding the Application!!

I am done with my Step 1 and ck, but I have my cs on August 13th (in LA). So I will be getting my results and getting certified by november.

My question is, Can i apply on Sep 15th 2013 without being Ecfmg certified (only with my 1 and ck marks)??

Please some one clarify my doubt. Thank you!

no chance.
just clearing the exam with low marks/below average marks will not grant you many, [I say none] IV, now to add more red flags like not having CS is bad. You may get not more than 2 IV maybe 1. Chance of matching would be less than 6% according to data.

If you have above average marks, like 230+ step 1, 237+ step 2 you be ok, but still not stellar.

sorry for not sugar coating it. save your money apply when you have a competitive and complete application

basically

people with marks of 230+ and 1 US LOR in the field who had more than 10 IV matched for sure.

people with 240+ no US LOR with 7 IV matched for sure eor 1 US LOR 4 IV matched for sure

people with 250+ no US LOR with 2 IV matched for sure, and 1 US LOR with 1 IV matched for sure.

Keep this in mind. Everyone applies to the same program. Everyone has excellent PS, LOR, CV.

SO programs USE Step 1 Marks, Step 2 Marks and CS. So they filter by ECFMG.

They send automatic IV to anyone with marks of 250+, than 240 than 230.

by the time is some one time with 223, either IV dates are filled or they have already made their ROL up to.

So you need to have a complete application to make sure you get the maximum chance.

NOW please pay attention,

You will get IV if your marks are good.

So if you have excellent score, 4 US LOR from different fields, good CV,PS

and you do a well job in the IV you will match for sure.

You will get IV if your marks are good.
