Question September Application Without CK Results

Can I apply by Sept 15th without Ck result, planning to give CK in 3rd week of august, (result reporting time sep26th).. so my Q is can I apply by Sept 15th for 2014 match without CK result in hand (of course will be done with CK exam by that time).. so by the time universities start looking at our applications (Oct or late September) , I will have my CK result and will be certified anyway..
how is going to affect my interviews?

I would suggest you wait until you get the CK results.

Complete October
Profile is better than Incomplete September Profile.

I'm in the same boat..
Sabio, one quick question..
Getting done with ck around that time and by that time i'll also be done with all my steps..
Do you suggest apply late or rather wait 1 year and then apply next match?
I want to apply for FM .. Step 1 score is not that great..
Thanx in advance...

Applying in October is still OK. You don't need to postpone your application to the 2015 match.

Sorry, this may be a stupid question. But this whole process is very new to me, and there is a lot of confusion going on in my head. Could you please clarify for me when you say apply later in October? Do mean not to apply Sept. 15?

I am in the same situation.

My question is how much does it really affect your application if you apply late?

Hey guys, in my case, I'll be writing my ck on July 24th.. Is there any chance I get my results before Sept 15th?

Yes you will get your results before the application date providing there are no delays.

Thanks a lot for your prompt response!!
Hence, this change in the minimum pass rate will only affect those who are going to write after July 27th? I mean, should I be expecting my results to be delivered in their regular timeframe of 3-4wks or will it take longer?

@Sabio
what is the difference and how is it going to affect your application, if we apply late september when compared to sep15th application(Ck result pending).. once we finish our Ck exam in august, our result will be updated automatically, whats the difference, dont you think its better to apply by sep15th?? please give your suggestions...

Apply to programs with complete scores in October is better than applying in September with CK results pending.

Reason, program coordinators apply filters to sort out applicants, one of the most common filters they apply is if the application is complete or incomplete.

So when you apply with no CK results, you run the risk of getting your entire application filtered out (they will not even see that the results is pending).

Of course, that's not a 100% rule. But I am just saying to be safe, do not click on "apply" in ERAS until you get all results.

Now, if you results will be delayed until November or December, then that's a different story. In that case apply early in September with incomplete results because if you apply in November or December there is big chance that your application won't be looked at.
