Only letter writers and med school admin register in the LoR portal to upload the LoRs.

If you have an LoR and you have not waived your rights to see it and you want to upload it yourself you can then use the OASIS website to upload that LoR.

Applicants should never use the AAMC LoR Portal.

So basically if I want to upload a waived letter all I have to do is to assign and finalize a letter on Eras Website then email the LOR instruction paper to the Author and he will do the rest ? is that right ? if anyone can explain please ?

When letter authors sign up in the LoR portal they have to verify their email address via an opt-in process.
Of course that also can be faked by the applicant.
They might be suspicious if they see that the email IronMan1031u@yahoo.com, the email should typically end in .edu domain if it was an authentic faculty letter writer.
But anyway, you are right. I don't think they have a vigilant authentication procedure.

Yes. You can.
Do not waive your rights.
Ask the letter writer to show you the letter.
Then do the steps as you mentioned earlier.
